Little Thief is the bedroom project of multi-instrumentalist and Dead Sally alumna Hailey Jane Bobella. Described by local music outlet Ovrld as one of Austin’s “most emotionally raw and contemplative new artists, creating disarming bedroom pop featuring her ethereal voice over simple percussion, unexpected bursts of electric guitar and cello,” Little Thief is an introspective, eclectic, and deeply personal musical experiment which aims first and foremost to explore feelings of grief, heartbreak, and personal alienation. Hailey released her self-engineered debut album It Didn’t End, Tomorrow Came at the end of 2016, and has been performing solo throughout Austin since. She aims to release new material by the winter of 2017, and is actively looking to put together a full band for live performances.
