I’m Florian-Ayala Fauna, a trans-femme intersex inter-disciplinary artist working in various mediums of visual art and music. My work revolves around Hermetic occultism and dark imagery relating to both my physical and emotional struggles. I’m influenced a great deal by personal experience with the esoteric, religious iconography, and medical imagery relating to my issues as being a disabled person.

With my work, I attempt to be as transparent and visceral in nature, incorporating elements of occultism, death, nature, and disease as subjects to work with. Religious imagery plays a role in a subversive style, revolving around themes of martyrs, visions of beings, and sacred texts such as Revelations. These matters are incorporated into the dark ritualistic occult imagery, and it’s allegorical relationship with the duality of life and death, darkness and light, etc.

I live in Buffalo, NY with my partners and cats, working independently as an artist and occultist.
