Hello! My name is Lucy Valentine and I am the “EmbroidahBoi”. I create visual art through embroidery on themes of mental health and the intersections of identity.

As an independent artist I desire I desire a world where the work of artists is valued as what I believe it truly is – the bringer of change, predictor of futures, and markers of the state of cultures. A world where artists are brought together in an unstoppable force of community. 

As a black/queer/trans crafter, I use embroidery to share my views of the world at the intersections. The practice is inherently calming, and hold the themes of healing, justice, and identity politics that I explore with care.
