50’♀is the musical persona of intermedia artist Rahne Alexander. Drawing on elements of country, pop, rock, and other genres, 50’♀performances range from solo acoustic performance to full band experiences. She has shared stages with Karen & the Sorrows, Pardalince Bird, Ellen Siberian Tiger, Woven In, and catherine the great. In 2016, 50’♀ contributed a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Came So Far For Beauty” to Last Year’s Man: A Baltimore Tribute to Leonard Cohen, which was featured in the City Paper’s final Big Summer Music Issue.
